Excellent experience. We came in with 8 adults, 3 children, and 1 infant and they sat us right away. We had prompt service and drinks came out right away. We all ordered different breakfasts and the food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. The complementary coffee with the meal tasted great and they were frequently asking us if we wanted refills. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food was fantastic - huge portions and excellent flavor. We had a great all around experience and would recommend to all for a great, classic Walker experience.

Pretty straight forward traditional breakfast - it would be nice if they offered some other types of items. Example: turkey sausage, beyond burger/sausage, crepes, gravy without pork in it. It would really be cool if they had gluten free bread, butter, veggie meat... Pleasant atmosphere -Fast, polite, consistent service and food. Reasonable prices just kinda chintzy on omelet ingredients...

Yep, I'd have to agree with rude service! It really sucks, because I've eaten here for 20 years and have NEVER felt as bad as when I left today! Jimmy's from here on out!

Good food, good service, good hollandaise, free coffee!

Limited breakfast menu. Priced on the high side. Service is great. Eggs Benedict are the best around Walker, Mn.

Severely disappointed. We ordered the kids meals for our 6,7,& 8 year old children. They were served one small pancake and one link of sausage. My husband and I shared our own food with the children and we ALL left hungry. When we politely expressed our disappointment to the waitress we were told "maybe our kids were to big for the kids meal!" Never, ever eating there again. We were briskly dismissed and our complaint went unheard.Small portions. Poor service.

Do not eat here! Keep walking down the street and avoid this place! Female server is miserable and will make your experience miserable too. Served cold coffee and had an attitude when I asked for a hot coffee. Brought back a hot cup a short time later but still had a bad attitude. Food is mediocre at best and certainly not worth dealing with a disgruntled waitress. I won't be back!

Very good food ,excellent staff and you get your meal within 5 to 10minutes of giving your orders and that is an excellent cafe.ENJOY !!!!

Attention! There are a ton of bad reviews about rude service. I am from Sioux City, IA and we were greeted with nothing but great friendly service and SUPER fast and delicious food. We are a family of four and they had our plates to us in less than 10 minutes, our waitress was a sweetie...busy but went out of her way to chat a bit with us and took time to make my young daughters smile. Food was delicious too. 5 stars hands down.

Buyer beware!! Especially if you have kids do not eat here!! Kids meals are a total RIP OFF! $5.99 per kids meal for 1 sausage link and 1 small box mix pancake. Kids are 5, 6, 6 and ate half of our food. $60 bill for 5 people and every single one of us walked out hungry. I should have paid for the drinks and walked out as soon as the food came. Then the waitress tipped herself $7.50 for doing absolutely nothing. I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant. Total tourist trap that brings you in to steal your money knowing u r never coming back.

Perfect breakfast muffin with cottage bacon was delicious. Perfect crispy bacon and kids loved the pancakes. Small collection of books for kids and cozy atmosphere.

Had a nice breakfast here recently. One thing that really stood out was how cold the interior of the restaurant was. Our server was friendly and very quick with our drinks and food. Speaking of the food, it was what you would expect out a small café - everything was good but nothing really stood out or took much imagination.The pistachio muffin was great though! Pricing was inline with my expectations. Would probably stop in again but might look for a different place for breakfast in the area as well.

Worst service I've had in a very long time. Can't believe it. There were 4 of us that went in one of us has a broken leg he used a cart to help him get around we sat in back at the 6 person table. They do have a sign in it that says 5 it more people but we figured with his cart and broken leg this would be easier. The lady gave us our menus, then noticed a family of 6 showed up, she ripped the menus out of our hands told us we have to move she had a big party just door up. The other family had already say at the other 2 4 person tables and seemed fine until she went over there and ripped their menus out of their hands. They seemed to be just as embarrassed as we were. Couldn't believe that just happened. We would have been ok with moving if she would have just asked nicely. Then she didn't even bring my 2 year a water to drink. Horrible service

Very busy labor day weekend. One staff kept service time quick and the food was excellent! Great stop for an up north visit.

Overeasy eggs were overcooked, food got to the table cold.
